What is the Red Dot Award?

The Red Dot Award is one of the world's most recognized design competitions, founded in Germany back in 1955. Every year, an independent jury of design experts reviews thousands of entries from around the globe.

Win, and you get to carry the Red Dot quality seal. Your product also gets exhibited at the Red Dot Design Museum in Essen, right alongside brands like Audi, Apple, BMW and Philips.

Why does it matter?

It's recognition from outside our own walls. An independent jury judges the product on its own merits, not just how we see it.
It looks at fit, not just filtering. The jury evaluates the shape and finish of the earplug, how it's designed to sit in your ear, alongside how well it performs.
It's on top of compliance, not instead of it. All our products carry the CE mark and are ANSI tested. A Red Dot Award recognizes the design itself, and the innovation behind it, on top of that.

What do CE certified and ANSI tested mean?

The CE (Conformité Européenne) certification shows that our products meet the EU's safety, health, and environmental requirements.
ANSI tested means our products meet the standards of the American National Standards Institute. For hearing protection, that's testing against ANSI S3.19, the standard used to measure how much sound a hearing protector actually blocks out.
