Shipping

Orders placed on business days before 20:00 are shipped the same day. You will receive them within two business days. Parcels are delivered from Tuesday to Saturday. Please note that national holidays may cause longer delivery times.

Delivery is free for all orders!

After placing your order, you will receive a tracking code from the delivery service. For the Netherlands, this is PostNL or DHL, and for Belgium, it is Bpost.

Custom-Made earplugs
If you have ordered custom-made earplugs, you will receive your tracking code from GLS once your earplugs have been produced and packed. Read more in the FAQs about custom-made products.

Didn’t receive the email from the delivery service? Check your spam folder.

All orders are delivered directly to the address you provide. Orders containing 1–2 earplugs will be shipped in a mailbox-sized package. Larger orders or bigger products (e.g., earmuffs) will be sent as a parcel.

Currently, we do not offer the option to pick up orders at a collection point.

Orders can be shipped to the Netherlands and Belgium.

If you want your order delivered to another country, you can switch to one of our other webshops using the link at the bottom left of the website.

Order issues & returns

Did you receive the wrong product? Don’t worry. Contact our customer service at consument@alpine.nl, including your order number and the incorrect item. We will send you the correct product immediately and arrange the return of the wrong one.

We apologize if anything is missing from your order! Please contact our customer service at consument@alpine.nl, provide your order number and the missing item. We will send it to you immediately at no extra cost. Prefer store credit for our webshop or a refund? That’s of course also possible.

We’re sorry that your product arrived damaged! Please send a message to our customer service at consument@alpine.nl with photos of the damaged item. We will send you a replacement product free of charge.

We want you to be happy with your purchase. That’s why we offer a 100-day satisfaction guarantee. Use your product for at least 10 days to give it a fair chance. If you’re still not satisfied afterward, you can choose store credit for our webshop or a full refund.

You can return a product in the following cases:

  • Wrongly ordered: Return within 30 days, unopened and in the original packaging. You are responsible for the return shipping costs. If you return only part of your order, you will be refunded for the returned items (original shipping costs are excluded).
  • Incorrectly delivered or defective: Send a photo of the wrong or damaged product, and we will send the correct or a new product, covering the return shipping costs.
  • Missing product: Contact customer service, and we will send the missing item free of charge.
  • Not satisfied: We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase, which is why we offer a 100-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied due to fit, comfort, noise reduction, or usability, contact our service team within 100 days of receiving your product. We recommend using the product for at least 10 days before submitting a return request. You can choose either store credit for a future order or a refund.

Note: If you purchased your Alpine product through a retailer (such as Amazon or a pharmacy), the return process must go through them.

After we receive your returned package, we will refund you as soon as possible using your original payment method. This always happens within 5 days. If our customer service has already approved an immediate refund, you will also receive it within 5 days.

Step 1: Contact our customer service
Send us an email at consument@alpine.nl with your order number, product name, and reason for the return to start the return process. Feel free to include photos to illustrate any damage to the earplugs.

Step 2: Receive return instructions
In some cases, you may receive a new product or a refund. If your product needs to be returned, follow the next steps:

Step 3: Get the return address
We will provide you with the address for the return.

  • If the return is due to our mistake (e.g., wrong or damaged product), we cover the shipping costs and provide a return label.
  • If you ordered the wrong product, you are responsible for the return shipping costs.

Step 4: Include your information
Make sure to include your name and order number in the package, along with the product you want to return.

Step 5: Receive your refund
After we receive your package, we will refund you as soon as possible. You can choose either store credit or a refund to your original payment method. Refunds are processed within 5 days of receiving the returned package.

If you have not received your refund, exchange, or store credit within 10 days, please contact us.

We have a Fair Use policy to ensure that our 100-day satisfaction guarantee remains accessible to all customers. The following rules apply:

  • Products must be used for at least 10 days before requesting a return or refund.
  • The guarantee applies only to first purchases of each product type.
  • Claims may be denied if patterns indicate misuse, such as repeated refund requests for the same product type.
  • The guarantee is for individual customers; bulk or repeated orders require separate arrangements.
  • Alpine reserves the right to refuse return or refund requests in cases of misuse and to exclude future orders from the satisfaction guarantee.

Help me choose

The SNR value (Single Number Rating) is a European standard used to compare the noise reduction level of different hearing protectors. Independent laboratories test earplugs and earmuffs to determine the SNR of a product.

In the United States, the standard used is NRR (Noise Reduction Rating) instead of SNR. This standard is slightly stricter than the European one. The higher these ratings, the more the hearing protection reduces noise.

Often, both the NRR and SNR ratings are listed on Alpine product packaging.

Instructions for Earplugs:

  1. Hold the end of the earplug (filter side) with one hand.
  2. Gently pull the top of your ear upward and outward with your other hand.
  3. Carefully insert the earplug into your ear canal.
  4. The earplug fits correctly when you feel no pain or pressure. Depending on the type, you can switch to a smaller or larger size to achieve the best fit.

We recommend cleaning Alpine earplugs with lukewarm water and soap, or with the disinfecting Alpine Clean cleaning spray.

After washing, dry the earplugs with a cloth or tissue. Once dry, the earplugs are ready to use immediately.

The following manufacturer’s warranty applies to non-custom-made products. For custom-made earplugs, see the material warranty on the specific page.

The manufacturer’s warranty is valid for 24 months from the date of purchase as shown on the proof of purchase.

The remaining warranty period applies to a replacement or repaired product.

The warranty entitles you to repair, unless Alpine deems replacement or return of the product necessary.

Alpine covers the costs and risk of transport to and from the retailer where you purchased the product, provided the repair falls under the manufacturer’s warranty.

Warranty is only valid with a copy of the dated purchase receipt, a clear description of the complaint, and the defective product and/or photos of the defective part or product.

The manufacturer’s warranty does not cover:

  • Exceeding the maximum number of uses.
  • Modifications or repairs made by the user.
  • Defects caused by neglect, misuse, accidents, or use/maintenance not in accordance with the instructions.
  • Damage from normal wear and tear.
  • Accidental or unintentional damage, abnormal use, or insufficient maintenance.
  • Incorrect storage or care of the product.
  • Damage from improper use or failure to follow the user manual.
  • Dissatisfaction with fit, functionality, color, or design.
  • Cosmetic damage such as scratches or discoloration.

Lifetime Warranty

The lifetime warranty guarantees a properly functioning product for up to 5 years after purchase.

Maximum Number of Uses

The lifespan of Alpine earplugs depends heavily on use and maintenance. As a general guideline, for daily and intensive use, it is recommended to replace the product every 3 to 6 months.

If you use earplugs for a long time, they can expand and change color. That’s why brand-new earplugs may sometimes be smaller than your used ones.

We recommend cleaning your earplugs regularly and replacing them every 3–6 months with frequent use.

Ordering and payment

You can pay with iDeal, PayPal, Bancontact, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, UnionPay, and Carte Bancaire), SOFORT, Belfius, and KBC/CBC. You can also choose the fast checkout option via PayPal.

We do not offer Afterpay, Klarna, or any other methods to pay later.

Orders are often processed very quickly. An order can only be canceled or modified before it has been packed.

Therefore, we cannot guarantee that our customer service team will be able to change or cancel your order in time.
