Our Commitment to Hearing Fitness

In a world that keeps getting louder, it’s easy for our ears to feel overwhelmed, or worse, permanently damaged. Yet most people only think about their hearing once problems appear. We see a future where this becomes a thing of the past. At Alpine, we believe hearing should be treated like fitness: keeping your hearing in good health through daily habits that protect your ears and give them the calm and quiet they need to rest, recover, and stay in flow. Keeping your ears fit and in shape shouldn’t feel complicated or like another box to tick. It should be a natural daily habit. That’s why Alpine exists.

We create products that make hearing fitness an effortless habit, protecting 20 million ears by 2030, and contributing to a world where staying in tune with sound is second nature.

Becoming a Certified B Corporation™ is a natural extension of this mission. B Corp is more than a label, it is a framework that challenges us to keep improving how we design products, work with partners, manage our supply chain, support our people, and reduce our environmental footprint. Because hearing fitness and responsible business share the same principle: staying fit for the long term requires responsible action today. Our certification is not a finish line, but a bar we continuously raise.

“We want taking care of your hearing to feel as natural as brushing your teeth or wearing sunscreen, a simple habit that keeps your ears fit and in shape for life.”

Chief Executive Officer

What is a B Corp™ certification?

Our commitments

Our Purpose

We believe hearing should be treated like fitness: keeping your hearing in good health through daily habits that protect your ears and give them the calm and quiet they need to rest, recover, and stay in flow. Keeping your ears fit and in shape shouldn’t feel complicated or like another box to tick. It should be a natural daily habit. We create products that make hearing fitness an effortless habit, protecting 20 million ears by 2030, and contributing to a world where staying in tune with sound is second nature. Because our hearing is a gift we cannot take for granted. And we won’t stop until our purpose becomes reality for everyone, one pair of ears at a time.

Stakeholder Governance

Responsible decision-making means listening to the people connected to our business: employees, partners, suppliers, customers, and communities. We are committed to creating a transparent and respectful stakeholder environment. We maintain a public grievance policy that offers a safe, confidential way to raise concerns, feedback or report issues related to our operations, practices, or impact. This aligns with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.

We’re all ears: read the full policy here.

A better world starts with the people behind the products. Just as we help people keep their ears fit and in shape, we believe in creating a healthy workplace too. Our Fair Work approach focuses on meaningful work, fair compensation, and an inclusive culture where people can grow, contribute, and be heard. We actively invest in a workplace where people feel safe, respected, and proud of the impact they create every day. Being certified as a Great Place to Work® confirms this commitment. We keep our ears open, our standards high, and our workplace fit for the future.

A diverse team is a strong team. Different backgrounds and perspectives help us innovate and keep us connected to all the ears we work to keep fit and in shape. Our goal is to create a workplace that reflects the diversity of society, where everyone feels they belong, is respected, and has equal opportunity to grow and thrive. Externally, our mission reinforces this commitment. Hearing damage affects people across all ages, cultures, and communities worldwide. By raising awareness and making hearing fitness accessible, we contribute to a more inclusive world where everyone stays in tune with sound.

We are committed to respecting human rights across our organization and value chain. We believe that every person connected to our business deserves fairness, respect, and care. Respecting human rights is a fundamental part of how we build a responsible business, and how we ensure that our impact on people is a positive impact.

We recognize that climate responsibility is not optional, it is a fundamental obligation to people, the planet, and future generations. In line with B Corp Climate Action requirements, we are committed to measurable emissions reductions, transparent reporting, and continuous improvement across our operations and value chain. We measure and manage our greenhouse gas emissions across Scope 1, Scope 2, and material Scope 3 categories using recognized methodologies. Our climate targets are science-aligned and designed to contribute to limiting global warming to 1.5°C. Where applicable, we work toward validation through independent frameworks such as the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). We actively reduce emissions through energy efficiency, renewable energy adoption, responsible sourcing, circular product design, and close collaboration with suppliers and partners. Climate considerations are embedded within our governance structures and long-term strategy.

Our targets are clear: a 50% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions, and a 42% reduction in Scope 3 intensity by 2030, with a commitment to reach close to net zero by 2050.

We focus our efforts where we can create the greatest impact:

Scope 1 & 2: reducing energy use in our offices and further electrification of our vehicle fleet

Scope 3: improving the footprint of our products (incl. material reduction and increased use of recycled materials), reducing transport impact across our value chain, lowering emissions from business travel, and reducing the impact of our marketing activities

Our progress and initiatives are shared in our annual impact report.

Our purpose is clear: we create products that make hearing fitness an effortless habit, protecting 20 million ears by 2030 and contributing to a world where staying in tune with sound is second nature. This requires more than continuous product innovation. Meaningful progress happens through collaboration and by showing up where hearing protection matters most, from major international festivals and Formula 1 races to music venues and clubs worldwide. We actively work with industry peers, venues, event organizers, policymakers, and international partners to raise awareness, improve standards, and promote responsible hearing practices. As part of this commitment, Alpine is one of the driving forces behind the launch of Hoorveilig.nl, the first Dutch industry association dedicated to advancing hearing protection through collective action.
We engage with stakeholders in a responsible, transparent, and ethical manner. Our advocacy and public engagement activities are guided by the principles outlined in our Responsible Lobbying Policy.
