How to use

1. Choose the right size 

Size M is the standard size and is already fitted on the filters. Not comfortable? No problem - if they feel too tight, use size S. If they're too loose, switch to size L. 

2. Inserting the earplugs 

Hold the earplugs by the filter between your thumb and forefinger and insert them into your ear canals, twisting them slightly until they are secure and comfortable. 

Tip: you may wish to lift your ears slightly to make the earplugs easier to insert. 

3. Checking the proper fit 

The earplugs fit well when they feel comfortable in your ear canals: 
• You feel no pain or discomfort from pressure 
• The earplugs seal your ear canal well 
• They do not stick out too far from your ear 

4. Maintenance and reuse

Clean the earplugs regularly with warm water and mild soap or Alpine Clean spray. Allow them to dry well before reuse.

Start with size M. Choose a smaller size (S) if the earplug causes pain or feels too tight. Choose a larger size (L) if the earplug doesn't seal properly or feels loose. The earplug fits correctly when it seals well, doesn't cause pain, feels comfortable in your ear, and doesn't stick out too far.

Clean the earplugs regularly with lukewarm water and mild soap or use Alpine Clean spray. Make sure they are completely dry before reusing them.

PartyPlug Pro Manual

The SNR value (Single Number Rating) is a European standard that allows you to compare the level of sound attenuation of different hearing protectors. Independent laboratories test earplugs and earmuffs to determine the SNR value of an earplug.

In the United States, an NRR (Noise Reduction Rating) is used instead of an SNR. This standard is slightly stricter than the European standard. The higher these ratings are, the more the hearing protection attenuates sound. Often, both the NRR and SNR ratings are listed on Alpine product packaging.

PartyPlug Pro earplugs reduce sound by 21 dB (SNR), while the standard PartyPlug offers 19 dB of attenuation. To put this into perspective: an average festival produces around 100-110 dB of sound. With PartyPlug Pro earplugs, you reduce this to a safe level of approximately 80-90 dB. This is important because hearing damage can already occur when exposed to sound above 80 dB for extended periods. At 100 dB, hearing damage can occur within just 15 minutes.
