Earplug cord

I love using my Alpine earplugs but this cord is useless. It breaks after just a few uses, the plastic that clips onto the earplugs is flimsy and weak. I have bought so many pairs because I always loose them and this cord clip has broken on every pair. Do better, even cheap metal would work over this brittle plastic.

I’ve been using Alpine ear plugs and while the plugs themselves work well, the cord attachment is a weak point. The clips don’t hold securely, so when you pull the cord to remove the plugs, the cord detaches and the plug stays stuck in your ear.
A better design would be a rubber cord with a loop that fits snugly into the middle of the plug. That way, if the plug gets stuck, you can pull the cord and the plug pops out easily. It’s a small change that could make a big difference in usability and comfort.
